Photoshop Text Tool Hang

Got this very weird problem where my photoshop CS3 will get hang whenever I try to use the text tool.

Sometime some software makers are very naugthy where they purposely add in bugs for illegal software. However, I am using a genuine Photoshop CS3 which I bought year ago.

Then I try to google and found there are some posts about Adobe hates TTF ( true type font) and might get hangs when it is processing some corrupted font file. I know this must the the problem as I like to search  for free font online.

However, removing the corrupted font from my system is nearly impossible as finding the rotten apple among hundreds is a problem. The solution is simple:

1. Launch your Photoshop
2. Go to Edit->Preferences->Type
3. Untick Font Preview Size.
