I programmed this site using the open source, web scripting language PHP. It is driven by a few templates that dynamically create the web pages from a MySQL database on the web server. The markup is XHTML 1 Transitional and it uses CSS instead of tables for layout. In short, this creates more accessible, leaner code that is easier to maintain and renders faster.
